The Notarial Profession is long-established in Malta, and has survived different forms of colonialism and the mix of cultures. It is even more relevant today, when the Government is relying more and more on the Notarial Profession in the administrative side of matters relating to public deeds involving immovable property.

These are exciting times, when much is happening which will strengthen the Profession further.Be it the proposed Central Registration Act, the new Civil Code provisions, the introduction/periodical updating of fiscal measures, the realization of the E.U. rules and legalization in so far as they are applicable, the ever-increasing globalization, the introduction of trusts, the need to improve one's services, the relatively huge investment in immovables and so many other matters, tend to provide the Notary with much work and headaches!

This website will try to keep abreast of all that is happening in the Notarial Profession and to provide the means for an interaction between the Notarial Profession in Malta, and abroad.
